Located about 30km west of Naha, the Kerama Islands became a national park in 2013, serving as a genetic reservoir for marine life around Okinawa's main island. In good conditions visibility reaches 20-30 meters, with countless dive sites rich in life — swimming alongside turtles and reef fish is simply routine here.
The fringing reef's gentle depth changes make it especially friendly for first-time visitors to Okinawa or newly certified divers. In winter it's also a humpback whale breeding ground — with luck, you might even hear their song underwater.
Exact timing may vary with sea and traffic conditions on the day; both trips follow the same rhythm.

If you're OW-certified or above and want to explore the reef with a tank, go with scuba fun diving. If you're uncertified or just want to relax and take photos, go with the skin diving trip. Both can be booked separately on the same day, so mixed-level groups don't need to split up.
Yes, this trip is designed for beginners. Your guide will adjust the pace to how you're feeling on the day — you can simply float on the surface watching the fish and still enjoy the beauty of Kerama's glass-clear sea.
Because Kerama National Park is a longer trip, the whole day is spent on the boat without returning to port in between. If you're prone to seasickness, we recommend taking motion sickness medication beforehand and eating light.
Yes — our guides are fluent in English and can brief, communicate underwater, and debrief with you in English (as well as Chinese and Japanese), so international divers can join with ease.
